There are very few aftermarket mounting options for non-Safariland™ holsters. The Universal Mount from True North Concepts is designed to change that, by allowing for a wide array of popular holsters to fit the proven Modular Holster Adaptor system. It serves as an adaptor to bridge the gap between the many different holster mounting patterns currently available while also allowing for cross-compatibility with different types of holster quick detach systems. (example: G-code RTI® quick detach system used on a Safariland™ holster, etc.)
The user can easily convert holsters that do not utilize the Safariland 3-hole pattern in seconds by simply adding the Universal Mount to the back of the holster with the included hardware. Once attached to the holster, the Universal Mount will allow the user to mount their favorite holster to the MHA or any other belt attachment platform that utilizes the Safariland style mounting pattern.

Installation Instructions
Important Note! Please read before assembly: Due to the unlimited possible combinations of different holsters, QD adaptors, MHA, or other belt hanger, exact instructions can not be given. Use good judgement and test your holster setup once completed, before duty or combat use. As is the case for all equipment that could be used in a life or death situation, it is paramount that end users verify the holster configuration before use. Only use the matching thread pitch screw for your holster, making sure to not cross thread by using the incorrect thread pitch. Do not force the screw if it does not want to freely thread into the holster or binding post. Use thread locker to secure the screws 18-20 inch-pounds, approximated by “hand tight plus a quarter turn”. Failure to use thread locker can result in screws backing out over time, especially after riding in aircraft. This can result in equipment failure, and all hardware should be checked frequently. True North Concepts is not responsible for any damages caused by equipment failure. Improperly setting up your equipment can lead to disaster. Black Bag:(Mounting screws for Blackhawk! Holsters, DARA, Alien Gear, and others which use #10-32 pitch mounting screws. These will be used to attach the Universal Mount directly to the holster. Basic Assembly: Note that you will likely need to place the threaded binging posts into the Universal Mount holes/slots to correspond with the mounting holes of the MHA prior to mounting to the holster. After doing so, hold the Universal Mount level and press your holster against the plate to trap the posts in place before turning it over. Held level and with the plate facing up, install the Universal Mount to your holster using the appropriate length hardware. Choose spacers to control how far away you would like the holster to sit from the MHA. Trial and error for the exact configuration you prefer will be necessary.
