The Racker enables safe one-handed pistol manipulation and mounts easily to belts, MOLLE gear, or fixed surfaces for dependable operation in any environment.
The Racker is a one-handed pistol manipulation tool that aids with charging and clearing handguns one handed, as might be the case if the user has an injured limb. It is also used by those with disabilities to do the same. Designed to be sacrificed, its use will prevent undo wear and abuse of your holster. It can also be used to remove a stuck magazine one handed. It mounts to any belt up to 2.25" wide, and will also thread through MOLLE/PALS webbing. The mounting bar is the same pattern as our proven Modular Holster Adaptor, and is cross compatible with the MHA mounting bars.
Description
The True North Concepts Racker is a one-handed pistol manipulation tool built for shooters who have to run a handgun with a single hand. It lets you charge, clear, and work the slide on a modern striker-fired pistol such as a Glock when your support hand is injured, occupied, or unavailable, and it gives shooters with disabilities a fixed surface to cycle the action with control. Molded from polymer and designed to be sacrificed, the Racker takes the abuse so your pistol and your holster do not. Racking off the mouth of a waistband holster, a kydex holster, or a soft holster wears gear out fast, and a chewed holster mouth makes reholstering slower and less consistent.
The mounting bar uses the same pattern as the proven Modular Holster Adaptor, so the Racker is cross compatible with MHA mounting bars and drops straight into a setup many shooters already run. That shared platform lets you add one-handed manipulation to your rig without reworking the rest of your gear.
The Racker mounts to any belt up to 2.25 inches wide and threads through MOLLE/PALS webbing, so it works on a duty belt, a battle belt, a plate carrier, or a fixed surface in a vehicle or range bay. Set it where your strong side hand can reach under stress, then catch the rear sight or slide serrations and press down to cycle the action. The same surface lets you strip a stuck magazine one handed when a reload goes wrong.
Because the Racker is meant to wear out before your equipment does, it keeps slide work off your sights, your holster, and any improvised edge that could put firearm safety at risk. Mounting hardware is included, and the low-profile body sits flat against the belt or rig so it stays out of the way until you reach for it.

Yes. The same working surface lets you strip a stuck magazine one handed when a reload fails.
Yes. Using the Racker instead of the mouth of a waistband holster keeps the holster's shape intact, which matters for appendix carry where a deformed holster mouth makes reholstering harder.
