The GBRS Group Leg Strap takes a different approach, with Tegris reinforcement built into the strap itself so no external bracket is needed. The Forge Concepts Holster Leg Strap was designed specifically to solve the comfort problems that come with extended wear on multi-day operations.

True North Concepts carries several leg strap and holster leg strap options. The MHA Leg Strap Kit (LSK) is our own leg strap kit designed specifically for the Modular Holster Adaptor. It includes a polymer bracket, all mounting hardware, and a 1" Milspec nylon and elastic leg strap with a quick-detach Fastex buckle.

We also carry the GBRS Group Leg Strap, which features Tegris reinforcement and requires no external bracket, and the Forge Concepts Holster Leg Strap, a hybrid nylon and elastic webbing strap built for all-day comfort. The Polymer LSK Bracket Kit and MHA/RHP Spare Hardware Kit are also available for upgrades and replacements.

A leg strap is not required for every setup, but it adds meaningful holster retention for shooters who move aggressively during tactical operations, training drills, prone shooting, or vehicle work. Without a leg strap, a mid-ride or drop leg holster adapter can shift or bounce during dynamic movement.

Adding a leg strap locks the bottom of your holster platform to your leg for a more consistent draw and reduced movement. If you run the MHA or RHP on a duty or tactical belt, a leg strap is a smart addition.

It depends on the strap. The GBRS Group Leg Strap is designed to work with the MHA and most other drop-down holster adapters on the market. The Forge Concepts Holster Leg Strap also offers broad compatibility with platforms like Safariland Mid-ride, S&S Precision Holster Extender, Guardian Warrior Solutions, and others.

The MHA Leg Strap Kit (LSK) is designed specifically for the MHA using a specialty polymer bracket, though the bracket itself accepts wider straps from Safariland, Blackhawk, and Ronin Tactics for shooters who prefer a different strap.

The MHA Leg Strap Kit allows you to set the polymer bracket below the bottom edge of the MHA, flush with the bottom, or slightly above. This adjustable design lets you position the strap based on your body size, leg length, and personal comfort. We recommend trying several height positions before securing hardware with thread locker.

The GBRS Group Leg Strap also allows height adjustment through its direct-mount Tegris reinforcement system, and uses a 1" latch ladderloc buckle and triglide for circumference adjustment around the leg.

The Polymer LSK Bracket Kit is an upgraded mounting bracket for the MHA Leg Strap Kit. It replaced the original 6061-T6 aluminum bracket that shipped with earlier versions of the LSK. The polymer version is more comfortable against the leg and includes all necessary hardware for mounting to your MHA or RHP.

All new LSK orders now ship with this improved bracket, but the kit is available separately as a leg strap accessory for shooters looking to upgrade an older setup. Available in Black, Earth Brown, and Olive Drab.
