In this video we demonstrate a general install of a Safariland QLS to the MHA using the Universal Mount. It should be noted, the QLS does not require a Universal Mount, it is for demonstration purposes only.

Description

The True North Concepts MHA Universal Adapter Kit is the cross-compatibility holster mount built to put almost any popular gun holster onto the proven Modular Holster Adaptor (MHA). Made for shooters and operators who already trust the MHA but run a non-Safariland holster, it bridges the gap between different brand patterns, so you can keep the firearm holster you like without changing your belt system. The Universal Mount uses a low profile, high-strength build, so this holster adapter holds up to daily wear, hard duty, and repeated quick disconnect cycles.

By bolting to the back of a non-Safariland holster with the included screws and threaded post hardware, the Universal Mount converts that holster to the Safariland hole pattern in seconds. From there, your compatible holster drops onto any MHA, RHP, or other belt attachment that uses the Safariland hole pattern.

The MHA Universal Adapter Kit also opens up quick detach options across brands, supporting the G-Code RTI, Safariland QLS, and T-series (QD2) quick disconnect systems. That means you can run a G-Code RTI plate on a Safariland holster, or an Alien Gear, Blackhawk, or DARA duty holster on a Safariland QLS receiver, all on the same mounting system. Carry position is up to you: belt loop carry on a duty belt, mid-ride on a battle belt, drop offset on a duty drop kit, or QD swap from a compatible vest to a plate carrier rig.

The kit includes the screws and threaded post hardware needed to bolt the Universal Mount to the back of your gun holster, with no extra parts to source. Note that the Modular Holster Adaptor and other accessories are sold separately, so the Universal Mount slots directly into the holster system you already run.
